"Your interpretation of Salvatore's characters is both a joy and a privilege to listen to. Thank you for being awesome!"

"Narrator Victor Bevine’s English accents include Australian, American, and British, with seamless switches to Ecuadorian Spanish. He senses just the right pace for his well-pronounced deluge of scientific words and arguments. His enthusiasm for what the finch studies demonstrated heralds the Grants’ momentous contribution to our knowledge of biology today."

- AudioFile Magazine Review of BEAK OF THE FINCH -- Earphones Award Winner

"Narrator Victor Bevine finds a distinct voice and accent for each character and projects riveting emotions into each scene."

Audiofile Review of FALL OF HYPERION

"When I heard that people made a living narrating audiobooks, it seemed like the coolest thing in the world to me. I have recorded over 200 titles, working with the most interesting and talented people."

-Victor Bevine

“Based on a true story, CERTAINTY is a powerful novel that makes the reader question what it means to behave ethically. This book is smart, brilliantly paced, and well-researched.”

NetGalley (5 Stars)

"I knew I wanted to be an actor when I was five, so I guess you could say, it’s my first love.  From stage, to screens big and small, to audiobooks, it has helped to shape my life and continues to enrich me."

- Victor Bevine

"Bevine does a good job of transitioning between the harsh calculating characters like Matron Malice and the more idealistic Drizzt, which is rather impressive."

"Victor Bevine's narration is very good- he conveys both the emotions of the characters and the urgency of a battle scene very well, and overall delivers a great listening experience."

"The amount of characters in the book is very conducive to having a narrator, and Bevine has very well defined voices for each one. It makes the listening a real treat."

Audible Review of The Fall of Hyperion

"I was afraid that the fighting sequences would come off as lame. I am thrilled to say that they did not, not at all."

"I had never listened to the narrator before, but there is no question that he will now be at the top of my list."

One evening many years ago...

Caught in a sudden downpour on Lower Broadway in NYC, I ducked into a rare gem of a bookstore (Shakespeare & Co.) for shelter.  There, on an upper shelf in the back of the store, I discovered a book of historical essays that led me to the story that was to occupy my life for more than two decades, a tale of love, identity and justice, based on events that occurred at the end of WW1, but as relevant today as anything on the morning news.  The culmination of this odyssey, CERTAINTY, is my debut novel published on Oct. 21st 2014.

When I was a kid, I used to have a really scary recurring nightmare...

When I was a kid, I used to have a really scary recurring nightmare of being chased by a T-Rex. Desperate to outrun him, I would somehow grow my arms and push my body forward on my knuckles, swinging my legs through like a chimp.

When I first heard about parkour on NPR nine years ago, specifically a description of the classic move known as the “kong vault”, I said to my self, “That’s what I used to dream!”

When the commentator went on to describe the sport’s philosophy, how kids were getting the metaphor, that by overcoming physical obstacles they could overcome other obstacles in their lives as well, I knew I had to do something with parkour. I had spent more than 15 years working with at-risk youth in NY and LA, and I immediately saw the powerful potential in parkour as a force for changing lives for the better.

Together with my partners, David Thompson, Francis Lyons, and a group of the best and most dedicated parkour athletes in the world, we founded the World Freerunning Parkour Federation (WFPF), the first and most widely-known global parkour organization. Today, I am honored to be considered one of the leading advocates for parkour internationally, and to name among my friends so many outstanding young people from around the world who never fail to give me hope for the future.
